UV Weathering Test Chamber — Upgraded Generation

Application Overview

The fluorescent UV weathering test chamber uses fluorescent UV lamps as the light source. It performs accelerated weathering tests on materials by simulating ultraviolet radiation in natural sunlight and condensation to determine their weathering resistance. It can simulate natural climatic conditions including ultraviolet radiation, rain, high temperature, high humidity, condensation and darkness. These conditions are reproduced and combined into a cycle, which runs automatically for the specified number of cycles.

Product Features

User-Friendly Design

  • The exterior is made of coated cold-rolled steel, the chamber uses SUS304 stainless steel, and the aluminum-alloy sample holder is easy to install and operate;
  • 4 irradiance sensors installed at the front and rear of the chamber detect and monitor UV reproducibility, uniformity and degradation, with automatic calibration (standard equipment);
  • An automatic water replenishment system is provided. The drainage system uses a vortex-return and sediment collection arrangement for easy drainage, with water-level indication and a low-water-level alarm;

Touchscreen Controller

  • The 9.7-inch touchscreen displays various data on one screen. The menu-based interface is easy to understand, observe and operate;
  • Irradiance, temperature, humidity and spray cycles can be set and displayed directly;
  • The touchscreen displays all control parameters and automatic fault diagnosis information;
  • Industry standards are built into the controller for users in different industries to select. Custom settings are also available to suit user requirements (10 segments can be set);
  • Data processing functionality reliably supports test-process data and playback;

UV Light Source

  • Uses 8 original 40W UV lamp tubes imported from the USA. Compared with other types of lamp tubes, they provide stable quality, and their spectral power distribution does not deteriorate as the lamps age. Service life reaches 5000 hours, allowing more reproducible test results, fewer lamp replacements and lower operating costs.
  • UV lamp tubes complying with test standards are available as options (UVA-340, UVA-351 and UVB-313 light sources);

Automatic Irradiance Monitoring and Control System UV test chambers without irradiance sensors are already a thing of the past…

  • Overcomes the inability of existing domestically manufactured aging test chambers to monitor and control irradiance, reducing irradiance degradation and test errors caused by lamp aging;
  • 4 irradiance sensors installed at the front and rear of the chamber detect and monitor UV reproducibility, uniformity and degradation, with automatic calibration;

Professional Irradiance Calibration

  • Equipped with an independently developed irradiance calibrator for simple, rapid calibration. Traceability to national or international metrology institutions ensures accurate and stable irradiance;

Spray System

  • Spray uniformity adjustment: use the manual control function of the controller to observe spraying with the door open, then adjust or replace the nozzles as necessary;
  • A drainage collection tray facilitates drainage from the chamber;
  • Effectively simulates the aging effects of rainfall and thermal shock on sample surfaces;
