Heating Magnetic Stirrer (Square Plate)
Constant Temperature Magnetic Stirrer (Square Plate)

Precision engineered for laboratory mixing, heating & reliable temperature control

General Overview

The magnetic stirrer uses a micro-motor to drive a magnet, generating a rotating magnetic field that spins the stir bar inside a container. This provides efficient stirring, mixing, or auxiliary heating for liquids, ensuring thorough blending at a set temperature. Widely used in biology, medicine, chemistry, and related fields.

Product Features

  • LCD display with menu-driven interface – shows temperature, speed, countdown, and other parameters simultaneously for easy observation.
  • Microcomputer control technology – maintains constant speed even when stirring viscosity changes.
  • Aluminum alloy die-cast housing – heat resistant, corrosion resistant, easy to clean.
  • Heating plate base: aluminum alloy with composite coating – excellent thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and a smooth, easy-to-clean surface without contaminant retention.
  • High torque output – suitable for low viscosity large-volume or high viscosity small-volume solutions (capacities vary by model).
  • Corrosion-resistant liquid spill guard above control panel – prevents internal electronics from being damaged by accidental liquid overflow during stirring.
  • Brushless DC motor – smooth operation, long life, precise speed control, capable of forward/reverse stirring.
  • Customizable advanced functions: delayed start, forward/reverse rotation, Fahrenheit temperature display, self-tuning, alarm mode, power-on mode, constant temperature after timing ends, factory reset.

Safety Protection

  • Temperature deviation protection (Series A & B): Heating stops when the measured temperature exceeds the set temperature by a certain value (3°C~30°C, default 6°C).
  • Over-temperature limit protection (Series A & B): Heating pauses when the plate temperature exceeds the limit (330°C or specified value); heating resumes automatically after cooling – no user intervention needed.
  • Hot surface warning light (Series A & B): Indicator flashes when plate temperature exceeds 50°C, reminding the user that the plate, container, or solution is hot (>50°C) and cannot be touched.
  • Delayed shutdown anti-scald warning (selected A/B models): After turning off the main switch, if plate temperature exceeds 45°C, the display still shows the temperature (flashing), the upper row shows “Hot”, and the indicator flashes – reminding not to touch the plate or container. Display turns off only when plate temperature drops below 45°C.
  • Slow heating detection (Series A with external sensor): Monitors and displays an alarm code if the temperature rises too slowly with external probe.
  • Special protection: Anti-scalding cover (optional accessory) – a fence around the plate at a certain height to help prevent accidental lateral contact.

Stirrer Classification

🔵 Series A: Constant Temperature Magnetic Stirrer – External temperature sensor, directly measures and controls liquid temperature inside the container; includes all functions of Series B.
🟠 Series B: Heating Magnetic Stirrer – Monitors and controls heating plate surface temperature.
⚪ Series C: Magnetic Stirrer – Stirring function only, no heating.

📌 Illustration reference: Series A (IT-07A3, IT-09A5, IT-09A12) – Constant Temperature Magnetic Stirrers with external temperature sensor for precise liquid temperature control.
📌 Series B / C (IT-07B3, IT-09B5, IT-09B15, IT-09C10, IT-09C15): Heating magnetic stirrers (B) / Magnetic stirrers without heating (C).

Thermal safety highlights

Temperature deviation protection: Heating stops when measured temperature exceeds set point by adjustable threshold (3~30°C, default 6°C).
Maximum temperature cut-off: Heating element automatically deactivates if plate exceeds 330°C (or defined limit), recovers after cooling.
Hot surface warning (≥50°C): Flashing indicator reminds operator to avoid contact with plate/vessel.
Post-shutdown safety: For selected A/B units, display continues showing plate temperature and “Hot” until temperature falls below 45°C.
