Model Overview
| Model | Type | Supported Operating Modes | Application Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| dPette+ | Multi-Functional Electronic Pipette | Standard Pipetting, Mixing, Stepper (Multi-Dispensing), Dilution | High-versatility dispensing, serial dilutions, multi-step aliquotting |
| dPette | Simple Electronic Pipette | Standard Pipetting, Mixing | Routine high-precision liquid handling, sample mixing, daily pipetting |
Key Features
- Motor-Driven Digital Control: Stepper motor actuation eliminates hand-to-hand operational variations, providing consistent pipetting accuracy and reproducibility.
- Effortless Operation: Minimal operating force dramatically reduces the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI) during long pipetting sessions.
- Intuitive Dual-Button Interface: Multifunction rotary wheel and parameter knob allow rapid selection of modes, volume settings, and aspiration/dispensing speeds.
- Multi-Speed Regulation: Independently adjustable aspiration and dispensing speeds for handling liquids of various viscosities and surface tensions.
- Long-Life Li-ion Battery: High-capacity rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides extended operational life between charges.
- Self-Calibration Supported: Easy connection to PC via USB for digital calibration verification and documentation in compliance with ISO 8655 standards.
- Ergonomic Lightweight Body: Balanced weight distribution with curved finger rest and low-force tip ejection.
Operating Modes
- Pipetting Mode (P): Standard aspirate and dispense cycle with automatic blow-out for accurate fluid delivery.
- Mixing Mode (Mix): Continuous aspiration and dispensing cycles for thorough, bubble-free homogenization of reagents.
- Stepper Mode (Dispense – dPette+ only): Repeated multi-step dispensing of identical aliquots from a single aspiration stroke.
- Dilution Mode (Dilute – dPette+ only): Sequential aspiration of two different liquids separated by an air gap, followed by combined dispensing.
