Temperature-controlled Magnetic Stirrer (Ceramic Type)
Application Overview
A magnetic stirrer uses a micromotor to rotate a magnet, generating a rotating magnetic field that drives the stirring bar inside the vessel. This stirs, mixes or provides auxiliary heating for the liquid, allowing the solution to be thoroughly mixed at the set temperature. It can be widely used in biology, medicine, chemistry and other fields.
Product Features
- An LCD and menu-driven interface display temperature, stirring speed, countdown and other parameters on one screen, making observation and operation straightforward;
- Microcomputer control maintains a constant stirring speed as the viscosity changes continuously;
- The die-cast aluminum-alloy housing resists heat and ordinary corrosion and is easy to clean;
- The working surface is made from a single piece of ceramic, offering good heat conduction and corrosion resistance. Its smooth surface is easy to clean without retaining contaminants;
- High output torque is suitable for stirring large volumes of low-viscosity solutions or small volumes of high-viscosity solutions (capacity varies by model);
- A corrosion-resistant drainage channel above the control panel prevents liquid spilled during stirring from damaging the electronic components inside the stirrer;
- A brushless DC motor provides smoother operation, longer service life and more precise speed control, with forward and reverse stirring;
- Customizable functions include delayed start, forward/reverse rotation, Fahrenheit temperature display, auto-tuning, alarm mode, power-on mode, constant-temperature operation after the timer ends, and restoration of factory settings;
-
Safety Protection
- Temperature deviation protection: Series A and B stop heating when the measured temperature exceeds the set temperature by a specified amount (3°C~30°C, default 6°C);
- Temperature-limit protection: when the heating plate temperature of Series A or B exceeds its limit (330°C or a specified value), heating pauses for protection and resumes after cooling without user intervention;
- Hot-surface warning indicator: when the working plate temperature of Series A or B exceeds 50°C, the indicator flashes to warn that the plate, vessel and solution are above 50°C and must not be touched;
- Delayed shutdown with hot-surface warning: on some Series A and B models, after the main switch is turned off, if the plate temperature exceeds 45°C, the display continues to show the flashing plate temperature, with Hot on the upper line and a flashing indicator. This warns the user not to touch the plate or vessel. The display and indicator switch off only when the plate temperature falls below 45°C;
- Type A monitors slow temperature rise detected by the external temperature sensor and displays an alarm code;
- Special protection: an optional anti-scald guard provides a raised barrier around the plate, helping prevent accidental contact from the side within the height of the barrier (optional);
- Temperature-controlled magnetic stirrer: Series A uses an external temperature sensor to directly measure and control the liquid temperature in the vessel and includes the functions of B/C;
- Magnetic hotplate stirrer: Series B controls only the plate temperature, up to 400°C, and includes the functions of Type C;
- Magnetic stirrer: Series C provides stirring only, without heating;
